Intertronics has announced SpeedMask masking resins which are designed to replace lacquers, wax, tape and fixtures in metal finishing processes and to fully protect critical surfaces.
SpeedMask is ideal for complex sensitive shapes such as turbine blades in aerospace and industrial power generation, or in manufacture of medical/orthopaedic implants, e.g. knee joint components.

The instant UV cure feature of these masks, along with availability in viscosities to suit all dispensing and flow requirements, provides the handling characteristics necessary to speed up and streamline any metal finishing process. SpeedMask masking resins contain no solvents and do not require costly solvent recovery systems – they are easily removable by burning, peeling or water solution dependant upon the material chosen, and leaving the masked surface residue free after removal.

SpeedMask masking resins are high effective and flexible in comparison with traditional labour time consuming methods and eliminate problems of failure associated with lifting edges.
