C&K Components, has developed a reliable, high-performance miniature snap-acting switch for price-sensitive applications. Available in two versions, the TFS Series miniature snap-acting switches is rated to IP40 or IP67 and provides an operating life of up to 100,000 cycles. The TFS Series snap-acting switch's comes in two models, one has .020 by .187 quick connect terminals and the other model has molded in wire terminals. Both are sealed to IP ratings. The quick connect series is IP40 and the lead wire series is IP67. Sealing makes it a viable solution for protection against dust particles or fluids, including perspiration and water, said Vinny Acampora, product manager for C&K Components. The highly reliable miniature snap-acting switch provides an economical option for price-competitive applications that require high performance and quality.
The RoHS-compliant TFS Series subminiature switch features a footprint of only 10.30mm x 33mm with a height of 16.10mm, including the actuator. The TFS Series switches feature a maximum actuator operating force of up to 200 grams and a minimum release force as low as 10 grams. Available in a number of circuitry configurations including SPDT (single pole, double throw), SPST NO (single pole, single throw, normally open), and SPST NC (single pole, single throw, normally closed). The durable miniature switch series is constructed with a 94VO plastic actuator, cover, and base with silver alloy movable contacts. The TFS also has the option for a stainless steel lever.

The TFS Series switch feature a contact rating of up to 10A and a minimum/maximum voltage of 125/250VAC. The operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C.

The TFS Series subminiature switch is an ideal solution for a broad range of industrial and home appliance applications including forklifts, alarm and home security devices, air conditioners, water heaters and food processors.
