Slide switches from C&K feature very low profile
New miniature slide switches from C&K Components feature a very low profile and are ideal solutions where space is at a premium and especially where height is restricted, for example in mobile telecommunications, computers and remote control equipment. One or two pole JS series miniature slide switches benefit from only 2mm (.079in) high actuators, making them very easy to operate. Some slide switch models in total are only 1mm high. Available in single, double or triple throw styles, the new devices come in either surface or thru hole mounting format.
Highly reliable JS series miniature slide switches are lead free and process compatible. Available maintained only, the devices feature silver contacts, IR re-flows to 260 degrees Celsius solder profile and right and centre actuation options. Electrical rating is 0.3 AMP at 6 Volt DC and electrical life is 10000 cycles minimum. Actuator travel is 2mm. Designed for an operating temperature range from -10 up to +60 degrees Celsius, JS series slide switches can withstand a shock/vibration to of 10 to 55Hz 1min sweep. The devices are available in tape and reel packaging.
