Sealed Tact Switches Are Ideal For Demanding Industrial and Medical Applications

knitter-switch has made available a new series of sealed tact switches that are ideal for a variety of industrial and medical systems applications where protection to IP67 is required.
The new TSE 12 and TSSE 12 series provide the user with an excellent tactile feedback and offer a long operational life of at least one million cycles as well as being sealed with silicone rubber to IP67.

The TSE 12/TSSE 12 switches measure just 12 x 12mm and are available in surface mount as well as two through hole versions – 10 or 12.5mm pitch. The switches feature a long travel of 0.8mm and the force required for operation is 3.5N.

These RoHS compliant switches are lead-free solderable to 260ºC. Contact ratings are high at 42VDC or AC,100mA and operating temperature range is –40 to +80ºC.

The new tact switches are designed to be used in industrial keyboards, industrial control units and medical systems.
