knitter-switch, one of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers, has announced the introduction of a new series of sealed tact switches designed for a variety of industrial input, automotive and medical systems applications where protection to IP67 is required.
The waterproof TSE 8 and TSSE 8 switches offer space savings, when compared to earlier models and competitors products, yet offer a switch rating of 1W (max 100mA or 42V AC/DC). With gold plated contacts, the new tact switches feature a minimum current of 10mA at 20mV. These RoHS compliant switches are lead-free solderable to 260°C.

The new TSE 8 and TSSE 8 series provide the user with an excellent tactile feedback, offer a long operational life of at least one million cycles and are available in both through hole and surface mount formats. Two through-hole designs are available, one that saves board space and one that allows for improved solder joint inspection.

Both series switches are available from stock and from a number of distributors throughout Europe. Samples are usually available on next day delivery. For more information or to locate your nearest sales office visit
