The JFV series of X2 electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression film capacitors from specialist capacitor manufacturer jb Capacitors are on sales at Components Bureau. Featuring a maximum mains voltage rating of 275 to 310Vac and a wide range of lead pitches and capacitance values, the JFV series is suitable for a variety of applications including power supplies, energy-saving lighting ballasts, control devices and instrumentation.

The JFV series of metallised polypropylene film capacitors is available in a variety of capacitance options, ranging from 1000 pF to 2.2 µF with a tolerance of ±10 percent as standard, and a permissible voltage of 560 Vdc (275 Vac) and 630 Vdc (305 and 310 Vac).

A wide range of lead pitches is available (10 to 27.5 mm), depending on capacitance value. Standard lead lengths are 20.0 mm (±1 mm) with longer and shorter lengths available on request.

Packaged in a non-inductive (UL940V-0) plastic case sealed with epoxy resin, the JFV series is rated for a wide operating temperature range of -40 ˚C to +110 ˚C.

Supplied taped on an ammo-pack or reel, the JFV series of Class X2 suppression capacitors are RoHS compliant and conform to UL/EN/IEC 60384-14 safety approvals. Samples and production quantities are available now with lead times of six weeks.
