Chip resistors are 100% lead free without exemption
Stackpole's RNCP series chip resistors utilise high volume thin film technology to provide cost effective chip resistors that are 100% lead free and RoHS compliant without exemption. The RNCP's thin film technology doesn’t require the lead containing dielectric as do most commercial high volume thick film chip resistors.
Stackpole’s unique materials and design also yield chip resistors with high power ratings and outstanding anti-sulfur performance with no use of precious metals which can increase costs. The RNCP is available in sizes of 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1206 in 1% and 5% tolerances. Pricing for the RNCP varies with size, resistance value and tolerance and ranges from $0.002 to $0.01 each.
