Featuring high ripple current capability and compact dimensions, three series of EPCOS aluminium electrolytic capacitors with screw terminals have been released by TDK. The B43703, B43704 and B43705 aluminium electrolytic capacitors are particularly suitable for industrial electronics.

Designed for rated voltages from 350 to 450VDC, the B43703 series cover a capacitance range from 1500 to 22 000µF. The capacitors range in height from 80 to 197.0mm and have diameters of 51.6-90.0mm, making them 20% smaller than those of the predecessor series at the same ripple current capability.

The B43704 series offers smaller dimensions and a ripple current capability up to 25% higher than the predecessor series. The capacitors range in height from 80.7 to 221.0mm and have diameters of 51.6-90.0mm. Designed for rated voltages from 350 to 550VDC, the devices cover a capacitance range from 820 to 22 000µF.

The B43705 series has the same compact dimensions as the predecessor series but with a ripple current capability which is 40% higher. The capacitors have diameters ranging from 51.6 to 90.0mm and insertion heights from 80.7 to 221.0mm. Designed for rated voltages from 350 to 450VDC, the devices cover a capacitance range of 1000 to 18 000µF.

Attaining a useful life of 12,000 hours, the EPCOS capacitors are designed for a maximum operating temperature of 85°C. The B43723, B43724 and B43725 versions, which have a threaded stud on the base of the can for mounting, are also available.
