Neste pilots its first electric vehicle charging service

Starting from June 2021, Neste is piloting its first electric vehicle charging service targeted to logistics companies in Finland. The service will be piloted with Niemi Services at their site in the Konala area in Helsinki, Finland. The pilot project supports Neste’s and Niemi’s climate strategies and helps Niemi to reduce its climate emissions. Neste aims to launch a commercial charging service for electric vehicles in Finland by the end of 2021.

TRINAMIC Motion Control, now part of Maxim Integrated Products, has introduced an open-source, fully integrated reference design that simplifies the development of industrial robotic end-of-arm tooling (EoAT). The TMCM-1617-GRIP-REF reference design integrates hardware-based field-oriented control (FOC) and three communication ports to shrink the design size of electronic robotic grippers by three times, while reducing development time by half.
