The TPS546D24A is a highly integrated, non-isolated DC/DC converter capable of high frequency operation and 40A current output from a 7-mm x 5-mm package. Two, three, and four TPS546D24A devices can be interconnected to provide up to 160 A on a single output. The device has an option to overdrive the internal 5-V LDO with an external 5-V supply via the VDD5 pin to improve efficiency and reduce power dissipation of the converter.

Renesas has introduced the HIP2211 and HIP2210, a new pair of 100V half-bridge MOSFET drivers. The HIP2211 is a next-generation pin-compatible upgrade to Renesas’ popular ISL2111 bridge driver, while the new HIP2210 offers a tri-level PWM input to simplify power supply and motor drive design. The HIP2211 and HIP2210 are suitable for 48V telecom power supplies, Class-D audio amplifiers, solar inverters, and UPS inverters.

This reference design enables a wearable, optimised saturation of peripheral capillary oxygen (SpO2) and multi-sensor, multi-wavelength optical heart rate monitor (HRM). It uses AFE4420 device, which is a single-chip, bio-sensing front end for photoplethysmography (PPG) measurements. It supports up to four switching light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and up to four photodiodes to enable signal acquisition of up to 16 Phases.
