Vacuum handling tools to feature at SMTAI 2014
At SMTA International 2014, in Booth #735, Virtual Industries will be exhibiting the SMD-VAC-HP and TWEEZER-VAC systems. The SMD-VAC-HP System provides additional pick-up power for handling small to very large size components, while the TWEEZER-VAC is a compact unit capable of handling a wide variety of parts used in the industry today.
The SMD-VAC-HP system with foot switch, vacuum pens, small parts tips and magnifier (V8100A-AP8-BD-MAG1) runs on 12 VDC at 500mA with solenoid. With a precision pump and motor that generates more than 15" of mercury, the compact tower design takes up a small footprint on the bench.
The TWEEZER-VAC system with small parts tips and lighted magnifier (TV-1000-SP8-BD-MAG1) is a general purpose vacuum handling tool that plugs directly into 110 Volt 50/60 Hz. The system includes rubber tips for larger items and a set of small parts tips that handle items as small as 150 microns. The long-life diaphragm vacuum pump generates up to 10" of mercury with an open air flow of 2.3 lpm.
SMTA International is scheduled to take place between September 30th and October 1st, 2014 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
