Next year's PCIM Europe 2021 will take place in Nuremberg from 4th-6th May. Numerous representatives from the industry have already confirmed their participation as exhibitors. Submissions for the conference are still possible until 28th October 2020.

The corona crisis has had a disruptive impact on the trade fair sector. After the digital event this year, the PCIM Europe 2021 will take place live again in Nuremberg, Germany. During this time, visitors will be able to find out detailed information on the latest trends and products in the field of power electronics.

In order to ensure the safety of all PCIM Europe participants on site, measures have been developed to ensure safe participation in the exhibition and conference. Detailed information is available online here.

Focus topics: E-mobility and Energy Storage

The PCIM Europe 2021 will focus on the topic of electromobility. In the E-Mobility Area, exhibitors can present this specific area of application. The E-Mobility Forum features technical presentations that cover the entire value chain pertaining to electric vehicles and transport.

A further thematic focus is the trending topic of energy storage. In the Energy Storage Pavilion, trade visitors will find exhibitors, who offer products and solutions in this field.

Positive amount of exhibitors

More than seven months before the event begins, around 230 exhibitors have already registered for the exhibition, showing the significance of the exhibition for the industry. “For us, the PCIM is the most important trade fair of the year. There, we can have an intensive and forward-looking exchange with the key decision-makers of our partners and customers,” said Christian Koch, General Manager of Industrial Semiconductor Division at long-term exhibitor Fuji Electric Europe.

In addition to Fuji Electric Europe, other industry leaders such as Infineon, Mitsubishi, Semikron, Wolfspeed and ECPE (European Center for power electronics e.V.) will present their latest product innovations and solutions in the field of power electronics. Further Hitachi Europe, Danfoss, LEM, ON Semiconductor, STMircroelectronics and many more companies will be on site with their booths. An overview of all companies that have registered for the PCIM Europe 2021 so far can be found online in the exhibitor directory.
