MTS features advanced armament test solutions at Avalon 2017

As a returning co-exhibitor, Marvin Test Solutions will join Aero Precision, showcasing a range of mil/aero support equipment that ensures mission readiness from the flightline to the depot at the Australian International Aerospace & Defence Exposition (Avalon 2017), February 28th – March 5th at  Avalon Airport, Geelong, Victoria, Australia.

MTS will demonstrate its MTS-3060 SmartCan Universal O-Level Armament Test Set in booth 3A3, Hall 3 of the Expo. The SmartCan is a high-performance, hand-held flightline test set that provides full functionality testing of the MIL-STD-1760 bus via JDAM, SDB or AMRAAM emulation, as well as armament troubleshooting functions. The SmartCan has been successfully deployed across multiple fighter and trainer aircraft including multiple blocks of the F-16, HAWK, TA/FA-50, F-15, and F-5. The SmartCan has also successfully been demonstrated on the A-10 and F/A-18.

“Armament test solutions from MTS have been delivered to and deployed in multiple countries in Asia, including the most recent deliveries of our MTS-3060 SmartCan Universal O-Level Armament, MTS-209 Common Armament,  and MTS-206/MTS-916 Maverick Test Sets,” said Major General Stephen T. Sargeant, USAF (Ret.), the CEO of MTS who also serves as the Vice President of Strategic Development for The Marvin Group. “Our goal is to make test easy for our customers by providing test solutions with advanced features that meet their most rigorous test requirements today, and the flexibility to adapt to their evolving requirements in the future.”

Marvin Test Solutions’ CEO Major General Stephen T. Sargeant, USAF (Ret.) will be onsite to discuss maintenance and sustainment test equipment for legacy fighter aircraft as well as the F-35.
