Esterline will be displaying its latest Korry and Mason products at Aero India this year. Visitors will be able to see the Korry 389 switches - quick switch programme, Mason’s Harm’s Way Controllers (HaWC), Korry Utility Control System (UCS) touchscreen display technology and Mason Flight Controls.

Esterline’s Quick Switch programme has been developed in response to customers’ requests for shorter lead times. Esterline offers the Korry 389 Quick Switch as standard within four weeks. A ‘three day’ option is also available to further support enhanced aircraft dispatch reliability, sustainment and readiness of fighting forces for military aircraft.

Making their debut at Aero India are Esterline’s next generation Harm’s Way Controllers (HaWC), innovatively engineered for evolving manned and unmanned ground, airborne and maritime applications.

The Korry Utility Control System touchscreen display offers a 75% reduction in separate display and switching components. Korry Utility Control System display technology increases ease of use for the crew, with control-panel functions more easily changed by updating software rather than hardware. The displays have an anti-fingerprint surface to ensure they remain readable, and the glass screen is designed for life-of-the-aircraft durability. The Utility Control System touchscreen display also has built-in triple-redundancy features to minimise the potential for failure.

Mason Flight Controls are designed and developed to meet specific aircraft requirements. Esterline works with its customers to provide them with design solutions responsive to their requirements. Mason control solutions are used in a wide range of aircraft, from the F-117 to the Space Shuttle.

Stephen Burn, Esterline Control and Communication System’s Senior Director, Marketing and Business Development, speaking on behalf of Esterline at Aero India for the first time, said: “I’m delighted to be in Bangalore for Aero India 2019, the premier air show in the region. Esterline has a long-term commitment and footprint in India and we’re looking forward to reinforcing our strong position in the Indian market.”

“Our latest technology is well-placed to meet the emerging needs of indigenously built military aircraft.  As an existing US Supplier to several Aerospace Primes and Integrators, I feel very positive about our future business prospects in India.”

Meet Stephen Burn and the Esterline team at Aero India, Hall E, 2.18.
