Coating inspection system on display at 2014 NEPCON South China
CyberOptics has announced that, along with its SPI system, it will be displaying its latest conformal coating inspection system at NEPCON South China. The CX150i and SE600, the company claims, provide quality, accuracy and speed. NEPCON South China is scheduled to take place on 26th-28th August 2014, at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, China. CyberOptics will be in the the Kasion Automation Limited booth (A-1J45).
The CX150i automates inline conformal coating inspection process using a UV Strobed Inspection Module (SIM). Based on proven AOI technology, the system has a speed of 100cm2/sec. Designed with an 80Mpx sensor, it offers white light illumination for component presence/absence inspection and UV illumination for conformal coating inspection. Powered by AI2 (Autonomous Image Interpretation) technology, the system also enables faster, simpler and smarter programming. Automated conformal coating inspection delivers precise verification of conformal coating application, reduces operator costs and eliminates visual inspection errors.
The SE600 3D SPI system delivers ‘true’ volume measurement and usability. Designed with a dual illumination sensor, it offers repeatability and reproducibility – even on the smallest paste deposits. The SPIv5 series software offers full touch screen capability for easy, flawless inspection. CyberPrint OPTIMIZER, a value-add program, that automatically optimises the printing process is part of the SE600 software portfolio.
