Helix Technologies gains new Non-Executive Director
Helix Technologies has announced that Chris McIntosh has joined the Helix technologies team as a Non-executive Director. McIntosh is CEO of Methera, an early stage satellite company that is developing a highly flexible, broadband service to provide connectivity to Defence, Telecom Service Providers and Emerging countries, anywhere and anytime.
Previously, as CEO ViaSat UK he led the inception and growth of ViaSat’s European satellite capabilities.
Before joining ViaSat McIntosh was CEO of Stonewood Group, developers of government grade cyber products and services. A retired British Army Officer, he has worked within the high threat cyber and satellite communications environment for over 30 years.
James Lewis, Helix CEO, said: “Chris’s background in the secure comms, and his deep involvement in the space industry, make him the ideal new member of our board, as we push our high-accuracy GNSS antennas through to production and engage the aerospace, defence and communications sectors as customers and partners. I’m really looking forward to his contribution.”
