The relationship between Analog Devices (ADI) and Rohde & Schwarz has been strengthened after the two companies signed a new contract. The agreement is based on the new Rohde & Schwarz supplier management program that uses a more transparent process for evaluating suppliers, and which aims to systematically leverage the synergy potential resulting from close collaboration.

ADI has been a key Rohde & Schwarz components supplier for many years. As a strategic partner, ADI is involved very early in product development processes and is regularly provided with information in the form of roadmaps. In return, Rohde & Schwarz receives insight into up-and-coming component generations and can plan accordingly.

The contract was made final at Analog Devices, in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Cross-functional teams from both companies were present, as well as ADI’s Chief Executive Officer, Vincent Roche and Dr. Marc Sesterhenn, Executive Vice President Production and Materials Management at Rohde & Schwarz and Member of the Executive Board.

Peter Schlindwein (pictured), VP Corporate Procurement at Rohde & Schwarz, comments: "I am delighted to see ADI and Rohde & Schwarz, two pioneers in the electronics industry, renew their partnership and take it to the next level by concluding a comprehensive agreement."

Vincent Roche (ADI) also added, “I'm very pleased with the progress that we are making together. We share many common values, not least the belief that innovation drives business success.”

The contract is being implemented worldwide.
