The automotive company, Voith Industrial Services, recently sold onto to private investment firm Triton last year, now has a new brand identity and name. The company, which operates in the automobile and automotive supply industry, is now called Leadec.

Under its new owner, Leadec will operate as an independent global company capable of aligning itself fully to the needs of the industrial service sector, providing customised solutions.

Leadec’s autonomy has now also been deliberately reflected in the new company name, which is derived from the words ‘lead’ (leadership, leading edge) and ‘tech’ (technology).

Markus Glaser-Gallion, CEO of Leadec said: “The new name serves to emphasise that we are striving for market leadership to provide our customers with a competitive edge. In response to this trend we are going to continue to expand our core business internationally and are very much looking forward to the exciting times ahead.”

In the UK Leadec is a positioned provider of outsourced services to the automotive sector delivering a wide range of services to vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.

The expanding customer base now includes Jaguar Land Rover, Vauxhall Motors, Ford Motor Company, and Getrag.

The new brand was developed to reflect the company's DNA. It takes account of the aspirations and values that the company represents today and would like to reinforce in the future.
