Four UK Engineers Achieve National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Architect Status
National Instruments UK & Ireland today announced that four more UK engineers have achieved the prestigious Certified LabVIEW Architect status: Ian Lloyd and Stephen Swindley from City Technology Ltd, and Peter Davies and Mark Lee from Develop-ing Solutions. This is the highest level of NI LabVIEW certification available, with only six engineers in UK & Ireland and sixteen across the whole of Europe, currently certified at this status.NI C
“NI training courses are excellent” said Ian Lloyd, who has been using LabVIEW since 1996. “We would highly recommend the Intermediate Course to anyone who wants to improve their LabVIEW development style. The four hour Certified LabVIEW Architect exam is very challenging, but well worth it in the end. It is very satisfying to know that you are one of only six people in the country to hold the Architect Certification. ”
Peter Davies has worked with LabVIEW for five years, whilst Mark Lee, a former Applications Engineer at National Instruments, has used the award-winning graphical system design software for three years. Amazingly, through sheer hard work and determination, Stephen Swindley has risen from LabVIEW novice to Certified Architect in just one year.
“Congratulations to all four engineers, who are now formally recognised for their technical expertise in LabVIEW” said Ruby Mann, Customer Education Specialist at National Instruments. “Their achievement emphasises the commitment City Technology and Develop-ing Solutions have shown in working with NI to develop their LabVIEW programming skills to such a high level. Ian, Stephen, Peter and Mark join a select group of expert LabVIEW Architects whose credentials are now recognised and validated at the very highest level, distinguishing themselves and their companies in the market place.”
“Develop-ing Solutions is particularly pleased to have two Certified LabVIEW Architects, as the NI certification process proves we can consistently deliver the highest standard of LabVIEW-based solution to our clients” said Peter Davies, Develop-ing Solutions Managing Director. “This achievement is a testament to the quality of the National Instruments training programme and the continuing support we receive from NI.”
