ERA-GLONASS test solution wins Russian accreditation
An ERA-GLONASS testing solution from Anritsu is being used by Certification lab Polinom at NAMI which is administered by the Russian Ministry of Trade and Industry, and RosStandart (the GOSTS) of Russia. ERA-GLONASS is the system which provides quick emergency support after a traffic accident occurrence by using wireless communication network.
From the beginning of Jan. 2017, all new car models released in Russia must be equipped with IVS which supports ERA-GLONASS. For ERA-GLONASS IVS verification, the certification test in the designated lab referring GOST R 55530-2013 defined by Government of Russia using laboratory test equipment is required.
In Russia where the ERA-GLONASS service has been deployed, test are undertaken using Anritsu’s MD8475A Signalling Tester and the dedicated software MX703330E-031 MSD ERA GLONASS option.
The Anritsu MD8475A test solution provides a HIL (Hardware In the Loop) laboratory test capability to ensure the establishment of reliable wireless communication links to the vehicle.
