The DEK team is currently looking forward to showcasing an extensive range of innovative technologies from Stand A2.405 at this year’s Productronica exhibition, including its newly re-energised Horizon platform. Being held from 10th – 13th November in Munich, the 18th International trade fair for innovative electronics production will also host a wide range of DEK Productivity Tools along with the company’s brand new Sentinel technology.
Now equipped with new cover packages to substantially improve usability and operator access, DEK’s Horizon platform is renowned for its unique ability to allow manufacturers to configure their screen printer exactly the way they need it through a flexible series of standard features and optional extras. At the heart of Stand A2.405 will be the flagship pre-configured high accuracy, high throughput Horizon 01ix platform. Achieving 6-Sigma machine alignment capability of 2 Cpk @ +/- 12.5 microns, the Horizon 01ix display will also showcase selected Productivity Tools including ProFlow® ATX, enclosed print head technology for advanced materials deposition, along with the high-speed Cyclone understencil cleaner and new Over Top Snuggers for substrate clamping without compromise.

DEK’s Productronica display will also feature the Horizon 02ix, showcasing an advanced level of accuracy and reliability. Including a sophisticated and fully automated print process complete with closed loop print verification and requiring minimal operator intervention, the Horizon 02ix display will incorporate DEK’s Verification & Traceability software suite for proactive verification of product file settings and traceability to board level for effective process control and comprehensive workflow support. The display will also demonstrate DEK’s new HawkEye® Bridging technology – ensuring that defective prints are detected in real time.

Completing the display, a Horizon 03ix platform will reinforce the modular system’s future-proofing capacity and lowest cost-of-ownership commitment through its inherent ability to grow alongside production requirements. Showcasing the fast set-up and changeover capabilities that make Horizon 03ix ideal for prototyping and pre-production, this display will also include DEK’s new Paste Roll Height Monitor. Some of the first in the world to see this technology in action, Productronica will discover how Paste Roll Height Monitor uses lasers to detect the presence of solder paste and monitor the height of the paste roll to eliminate defects and improve end-of-line yield.

Productronica Stand A2.405 will also present DEK Sentinel, a revolutionary new productivity-safeguarding technology. Offering complete platform flexibility to extend application possibilities, DEK Sentinel eliminates additional overheads traditionally associated with the integration of complex technologies required to deliver state-of-the-art process control. Effectively lowering the cost of more good printed boards for complete manufacturing peace-of-mind, DEK Sentinel incorporates innovative features such as full input and output verification along with 100% inspection at the line beat rate. Productronica visitors will also have the opportunity to see DEK’s Dual Lane platform in action, doubling throughput on a reduced line footprint.

Productivity Tools on display will include tooling options such as HD Grid-Lok® automatic high-density tooling and Custom Dedicated Tooling for the ultimate in process flexibility. The Stinger low volume adhesive dispenser will also be featured, along with Process Improvement Products encompassing an extensive selection of quality consumables. DEK’s patented VectorGuard® stencil system will also be on the stand - incorporating the original, stainless steel VectorGuard Blue all the way through to the electroformed nickel VectorGuard Gold for exceptional aperture wall definition and superior printability.
