Bentek has increased its manufacturing capacity by adding a second shift at its San Jose, California manufacturing facility. The second shift has been added in response to growing customer demand. Bentek has shipped more than 35,000 string combiners with more than 15m feet of cable harnesses and whips into 5GW of commercial and utility-scale projects.

Wesley DeLap, Director of Operations, Bentek, commented: “Bentek has continued to see an increase in demand from customers on Balance Of System PV products. The company has added a second manufacturing shift in order to ship a record number of PV products in the second half of 2015. As Bentek continues to see demand increase, the company will continue to add capacity as needed to meet customer demand.”
