Agilent Technologies Thought Leader Award Supports Dr. Jens Frisvad's Work in Food Safety at Technical University of Denmark
Agilent Technologies Inc. today announced the recipients of its latest Thought Leader award: Dr. Jens Frisvad and the Center for Microbial Biotechnology in the Department of Systems Biology at the Technical University of Denmark. With this award, Agilent is contributing measurement solutions and expertise to support research in food safety, specifically the metabolomics of mycotoxins (toxins made by mold).
P. D. Circuits Receives ISO 9001:2008 Recertification

Pan-European Research Network Launches and Announces €150m Funding Programme
M-era.Net was launched in February 2012 and over four years will mobilise €150m of funding across Europe. The funding is expected to support 200 projects in the materials and engineering space, creating a stronger European RTD community, whilst supporting the European economy.
Teaching self-assembling structures a new trick
Researchers at MIT have found a new way of making complex three-dimensional structures using self-assembling polymer materials that form tiny wires and junctions. The work has the potential to usher in a new generation of microchips and other devices made up of submicroscopic features. The research is published this week in the journal Science.
