Monolithic Power Systems has announced its first operational amplifier to complement its established ranges of DC/DC converters, LED and CCFL drivers, and Class D audio amplifiers.
The MP8102 is an ultra low power op-amp which delivers a -3dB bandwidth of 600kHz while consuming just 7.5uA of supply current. This 1.8V to 5.5V true single-supply amplifier features a rail-to-rail output that can sink and source 20mA of load current and has an input common mode range that includes ground.

In addition, the MP8102 has a very low input offset voltage of less than 1mV and a tiny 2pA of input bias current.

It is packaged in a tiny SOT23-5 making it ideal for use in compact portable devices such as PDAs, mobile phones and cordless handsets, GPS receivers, and a wide range of consumer electronics.

Samples are available immediately.
