Other features of the new MCUs include flash sizes ranging from 2 kB to 8 kB, small-footprint packaging and cost-effective pricing. The C8051F85x/6x MCUs are intended ...
0.9V low voltage standard flash MCUs incorporate PMIC functions
Holtek announces its new 0.9V Low Voltage standard flash MCU, HT66F01xL series. Incorporating integrated power management IC functions, the new microcontrollers are especially designed for single-cell battery applications. By integrating the usually required peripheral circuits, these new devices offer the advantages of reduced component area, simplified components and reduced battery count, allowing them to meet the needs of today’s environmen...
Holtek introduce new enhanced A/D flash microcontrollers
Holtek introduce two new device additions to its Enhanced A/D Flash Type range, the HT66F0174 and HT66F0172. These new devices, in line with other devices in the range, meet with industrial specification requirements of -40 ~ 85 degrees Celsius operating temperature and high noise immunity. The new MCUs have a Flash Program Memory capacity of 2Kx16 bits, an SRAM Data Memory capacity of 128 bytes and 18 I/O pins.
MSC Adds Renesas Low Power MCUs to Inventory
Renesas's new ultra low power consumption RL78/G10 Group of microcontrollers (MCUs) are now available from MSC. The MCUs, which come in a 3.6mm x 4.4mm, 10-pin SSOP (Shrink Small Outline Package), are ideally suited for the control of battery-operated miniature electronic equipment. Depending on the version, the devices are equipped with 1KB to 4KB flash memory and can be clocked at up to 20MHz.
STM32 Value-line Microcontrollers deliver 32 bits for just 32 cents
STMicroelectronics have announced the latest STM32F030 Value Line microcontrollers, priced as low as $0.32 for high-volume orders. The new Value Line offers access to a full portfolio of hardware- and software-compatible 32-bit microcontrollers, ideally suited for lower-budget performance improvements and product extensions. The new STM32F030 Value Line is based on the ARM Cortex-M0 core running at 48MHz.
Solution For Simultaneous Programming Of 32 8-bit MCUs
Fujitsu and Conitec have today introduced their new MCA-32 Multiboard Adapter production optimisation solution. Due to each board needing to be individually hooked up to the programming unit, then programmed and tested, controller programming often presents a bottle-neck in MCU board production. The MCA-32 Multiboard Adapter permits the simultaneous programming of up to 32 Fujitsu microcontroller boards, with substantial time savings translating ...
Toshiba MCU Integrates Measurement And Communication Capabilities
Toshiba announce a new ARM Cortex M3-based microcontroller that combines large capacity memory with a range of serial interfaces, integrating measurement and communication systems into a single chip. The TMPM36BF10FG comes equipped with 258 kByte of SRAM and 1 MByte of ROM. TMPM36BF10FG is ideal for controlling complex systems that involve large software and data sets.
