SDIMM integrates SSD and DRAM
To meet the demand for compact memory modules, Apacer has released the Combo SDIMM. The module integrates SSD and DRAM, taking up less motherboard space. With the M.2 NGFF and CFast memory cards users can expand SSD storage capacity at anytime. By adopting standard DDR3 interface and standard 240-pin design, the memory module is ready-to-use once external SATA signal cable is connected.
To increase the board height, the Combo SDIMM takes advantage of the VLP DIMM short circuit PCB design (0.738 inch in height) of DRAM module DIMM. M.2 and CFast slots are also provided without connecting any external SSD power, reducing the power connection. The module also features shock resistance, low noise and low power consumption, enhancing it's reliability. A capacity of up to 256GB is provided by the M.2 NGFF memory card, while up to 128GB is offered by the CFast.
