Alliance Memory Inc., a worldwide provider of legacy memory ICs for the communications, computing, industrial, and consumer markets, today announced that the latest edition of its free product selection guide is now available. To help designers choose the right legacy memory product for their applications, the eight-page guide provides key specification for Alliance Memory's full range of asynchronous SRAMs and recently introduced synchronous DRAMs, as well as a cross-reference guide to devices from other suppliers that Alliance Memory's ICs can replace.
Alliance Memory's product selection guide provides density, voltage, speed, configuration, and packaging options for the company's entire line of asynchronous SRAMs, including 3.3 V and 5 V fast asynchronous SRAMs with speeds from 10 ns to 20 ns; low-power devices with densities from 64 Kb to 16 Mb; and 2.5 V and 3.3 V ZBT/Sync pipelined burst (SPB)/Sync burst (SB) products. In addition, the guide features the company's recently introduced synchronous DRAMs (SDR) with densities of 64 Mb, 128 Mb, and 256 Mb.

For mainstream digital signal processors (DSP) and microcontrollers, Alliance Memory's legacy ICs provide reliable drop-in, pin-for-pin-compatible replacements for a number of similar solutions. To assist designers in determining which products can be replaced by Alliance Memory devices, each part number in the product selection guide is cross-referenced with compatible part numbers from other manufacturers.
