Molex Ships 100 Millionth Antenna with Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) Technology
Molex announced that it has shipped its 100 millionth antenna with Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) technology. Molex originally developed LDS antennas in 2006 as a research project. Since the company began mass production in 2008, demand for LDS antennas has grown dramatically and now contributes to more than half of the Molex antenna shipments.
WiBE rural broadband device wins UKTI 'best of British mobile technology' competition
Deltenna's high-speed rural broadband device, WiBE, has won a 'mobile communications technology innovation' award. The device was judged to be one of 2010's top four UK mobile technologies by an independent panel of industry experts. This included members of the UKTI and Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network (DCKTN) who, together, organised the competition at Mobile Monday in London.
