New from Low Power Radio Solutions, the Witney UK based wireless systems specialist, is a USB controlled evaluation kit for their market leading “Easy Radio” plug and play wireless modules. “Easy Radio” is already established as the fastest way to get wireless projects into production, without extensive RF or programming knowledge. These new USB drivers allow direct connection and control from any PC.
The kit contains everything needed to connect “Easy Radio” modules direct to a PC for rapid evaluation or product development, 2 USB boards, 2 USB cables, 2 antennas (433, 869 or 915MHz) and a CD with EXE programme software, USB driver and data sheet.

End users will purchase separately the “Easy Radio” wireless modules best suited for their application from the ER400 series (433-434MHz) or ER800 series (868-870 user switchable to 902-928MHz). Individual transmitter and receivers or combined transceivers are available in both ranges. The selected modules are simply plugged into the USB boards and are powered by the PC USB port. LED indicators are provided to indicate transmitted data (TXD) and received data (RXD). Supplied software is all that is then required to establish wireless communication.

Barry Gillibrand, Managing Director of LPRS comments, “Our new “Easy Radio” USB evaluation kit provides a simple to use platform for the evaluation and test of all of our “Easy Radio” modules. This will further simplify design verification, which combined with our market proven, ready to use modules offers the shortest time to market for most wireless controlled projects. Customers for the evaluation kits will be able to visit our website for software updates and new developments”

Typical applications for Easy Radio wireless modules include environmental and building controls, alarm and security systems and communications systems, industrial monitoring and control systems, Full details, price information, electronic ordering and latest news may be found on the LPRS web site www.lprs.co.uk or call 01993 709418 to request a data sheet
