Bolt down fuses offer current ratings up to 500A

The Eaton Bussmann AMX(L), AMH and AML series are families of bolt down fuses that provide best in class power density with nominal current ratings up to 500 A.

They are in stock at authorised distributor Anglia Components with free samples available.

The AM series product families offer voltage ratings up to 125 Vdc, and ultra-high interrupting ratings, up to 20,000 A.

They are ideally suited for protection circuits in high current power distribution applications and the latest battery technology management circuits to protect against damaging fault currents which can occur in these high-power systems.

The fuses are available in current ratings from 50A to 500A, depending on series, and feature a ceramic construction body for high endurance and robustness, the bolt down construction allows them to handle continuous high currents without derating performance.

Offered in three standard sizes, the AMX/AMXL series measure 48 x 12 x 8.5mm, AMH series measure 55.4 x 17.7x 12mm and the AML series measure 68.2 x 17.7 x 12mm. The AM series have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C (with derating) throughout.

A range of holders and terminal are also available which are suitable for Eaton Bussmann’s range of bolt down high-power fuse products.

The BSCR101 is a modular fuse block, designed to accommodate a wide range of bolt down fuses from Eaton Bussmann, featuring a modular stud type design enables easy mounting in a range of applications.

The HMX panel mount fuse holder is designed for mounting the AMX family of bolt down fuses, it is available with an optional cover for isolation purposes.

And finally, the C220x series terminal blocks are single pole, feed through style junction/terminal blocks, available with #5/16 and #3/8" stud dimensions these blocks can handle current ratings up to 250A.
