Ethernet switches developed as applications are more diverse

Announcing the launch of the EN50155 certified EKI-9516/9512 Ethernet Switches with M12/M23 connectors, Advantech´s iConnectivity Group (ICG) produced the range to highly resist against shock and vibration and to ensure stable connection and communication.

As train applications are diverse, Advantech has expanded its product portfolio of EN50155 certified train switches with a total of 12 new models in the EKI-9500 series.

Six models offer Gigabit Ethernet—four of which have PoE/PoE+, and the other six models offer (10/100Mbps) Ethernet—four of which have PoE/PoE+. EKI-9500 Ethernet Switches support a wide range of power (24-100Vdc) which allows for high integration flexibility.

Advantech EN50155 certified EKI-9500 series EN50155 Managed Ethernet Switches are designed for railway applications with M12/M23 connectors and ensure tight, robust connection to guarantee reliable operation against environmental extremes such as vibration and shock.

The EKI-9500 series range of Ethernet Switches are fully certified with the European train standards EN50155 and EN50121-3-2 covering operating temperature, power input voltage, surge, ESD, and vibration, making the switches suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
