Ultra-low noise amplifier suits small cell/wireless infrastructure

Three devices from Guerilla RF are now available at Richardson RFPD with full design support capabilities. The GRF2013 is a broadband gain block with low noise figure and high linearity designed for small cell, wireless infrastructure and other high-performance applications. It features 1.3dB noise figure, +38.5dBm OIP3 and +22.5dBm OP1dB over a range of 0.7GHz to 3.8GHz with a single match.

Optimising the bias inductor and coupling caps for lower frequency operation yields strong performance down to 50MHz. The addition of simple external matching yields outstanding linearity and gain performance up to 8GHz.

The device is operated from a supply voltage of 2.7V to 5V with a selectable Iddq range of 30 mA to 120 mA for optimal efficiency and linearity.

The GRF2081 is a broadband, linear, ultra-low noise amplifier. It delivers 18.2dB gain, 0.38dB noise figure, +19.8dBm OP1dB and +37. dBm OPI3 over a range of 1.7GHz to 2.7GHz using a single tune. VDD can be varied from 2.7V to 5.0V, depending on application requirements.

The GRF2013 and GRF2081 are designed for small cell, wireless infrastructure and other high-performance RF applications requiring the absolute lowest possible noise figure, high gain and outstanding linearity.

The GRF5511 is a high-linearity power amplifier/linear driver with low noise figure. It delivers 20.1db gain, +26.1dBm OP1dB, +39.6dBm OPI3 and 1.5dB noise figure over a wide range of frequencies with fractional bandwidths >15%.

The device offers flexible biasing to achieve optimal linearity and efficiency, and it can be tuned over a wide range of frequencies from 700MHz up to 6GHz.

It is well suited to demanding 802.11ac 5GHz power amplifier/driver applications.
