Operating at 13.05GHz with an external 100MHz reference oscillator, the SFS13050H-LF single frequency synthesiser has been released by Z-Communications. The synthesiser, which features a typical phase noise of -88dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset, is suitable for radar systems.

While operating across an industrial temperature range from -40 to 85°C, the device delivers an output power of 0±3dBm. The SFS13050H-LF is powered by a VCO voltage supply of 5VDC while typically consuming 90mA, and a phase locked loop voltage supply of 3VDC while typically consuming 45mA.

The synthesiser, which is housed in Z-Comm's standard SFS-L1 package measuring 1.0x1.0x0.22”, features typical harmonic and spurious suppression of -30 and -70dBc, respectively. Available in tape and reel packaging, the device is suitable for automated surface mount assembly.
