Specialist distributor PETERMANN-TECHNIK has announced the Series SXO-0507 SMD clock oscillator in a 7x5mm ceramic package and makes the claim that it is the cheapest clock oscillator ever. It is available in the frequency range 10.0kHz to 175.0MHz in CMOS and 1.0MHz to 800MHz in PECL technology with supply voltages of 1.8, 2.5, 3.3 and 5.0 VDC as well as in extended temperature ranges. Low current consumption and low jitter values are further key parameters.

Frequency stabilities are available from +-10ppm (0+55°C). The standard frequency stabilities are +-25ppm, +-50ppm and +-100ppm. Working temperature ranges are available up to –40/+105°C.

The layout of the 7x5mm SMD ceramic clock oscillators is compatible with the design of all competing products and is therefore a direct 1:1 alternative. The SMD clock oscillators Series SXO-0507 can be used in any application in which a miniaturized low-cost/high-performance oscillator clock generator is required, even automotive. The ceramic package is lead-free and conform with the EU guideline 2002/95/EG RoHS and can be soldered according to JEDEC standards J-STD-020C.

PETERMANN-TECHNIK offers qualified technical support as well as customer specific solutions available in 5x3.2 and 3.2x2.5 mm ceramic packages.
