Euroquartz has launched a new range of high temperature high shock oscillators capable of operating up to 200°C. The SQX02ATHG oscillators from Statek are for use in applications such as industrial, computer, communications, downhole instrumentation, rotary shaft sensors, underground boring tools and avionics.

These miniature oscillators are housed in the space-efficient and ultra-reliable leaded through-hole TO39 packages that reduce mechanical and thermal mounting stress.

Featuring excellent calibration and stability over a wide temperature range, the SQX02ATHG oscillators are available in frequencies from 32.768kHz to 50.0MHz and offer high shock resistance up to 8000g (5ms, ½sine).

The 32.768kHz version offers low current operation (500 A at 25°C) and fast start up time of 0.8ms typical. Other models feature supply current from 3.0 to 6.0mA at 3.3V or 8.0 to 14.0mA at 5V.

Specifications include 2.5, 3.3 or 5V operation, calibration tolerance of ±50ppm or tighter if required, frequency stability of ±100ppm for 25 to 150°C, ±150ppm for 25 to 175°C and ±175ppm for 25 to 200°C, total tolerance of ±200ppm for 25 to 200°C, start up time 5ms maximum, rise/fall time 100ns maximum (32.768kHz) and ageing (first year) of ±5ppm maximum at 25°C. Operating temperature range is -55 to +200°C.
