Fishing out its passport again is Invertek Drives as it is heading to Poland for a second time this year to display the company’s Variable Frequency Drives at the International Fair of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Control, Drives and Mechatronics, Katowice. The three-day event runs from 18th-20th October 2016 at the newly opened International Conference and Congress Centre, and the company’s Optidrive P2, Eco and E3 drives will be on display.

In March this year, Invertek Drives attended the four-day Automaticon expo, also held in Poland at the EXPO XXI Warsaw International Expocentre.

Grzegorz Falkowski business development manager for Invertek Poland, said: ''Poland is an expanding market and after such a successful event in Warsaw earlier this year when we displayed the full range of our products we have decided to present Invertek Poland as a successful and fast growing company with products which could be used in many applications in the automation business.”

Tony Cox, sales manager for Invertek, added: “The Katowice event focuses on the latest innovations in drives and we believe our Optidrive P2, Eco and E3 will be popular as more companies aim to reduce their impact on the environment, especially in light of the new Act on Energy Efficiency (AEE) passed by the Polish Parliament in May this year.”

Cox continued: “Optidrive P2 is designed for fast installation and commissioning, providing the most cost effective solution for industry, while the new E3 couldn’t be simpler to use, being up and running in minutes, providing precise motor control and energy savings using the factory settings.”

“AEE for Poland comes into force soon,” Cox commented, and it aims to prevent Poland from having heavy penalties being imposed by the European Commission (EC) for failing to meet energy efficiency directives.

He concluded: “Our variable frequency drives can reduce energy consumption by up to 60% so I am sure there will be a lot of interest from Polish companies, especially as they will now have these even more stringent efficiency targets to meet.”
