Avnet Integrated is inviting customers to an innovation journey at embedded world 2019 in Nuremberg (February 26-28). It will show its complete portfolio of solutions, encompassing embedded boards, embedded systems, displays, data centre solutions and software with hands-on demonstrations.

It will also highlight how it brings all of these areas together seamlessly from design to delivery for customers.

Embedded boards

Her the highlight will be embedded Computer-on-Module solutions, including the latest Intel Pentium processor N4200 platform (formerly Apollo Lake), plus the recently launched MSC C6B-CFLH COM Express Type 6 module family and MSC SM2S-IMX8 SMARC 2.0 module.

They are available as off-the-shelf modules or starting points for completely customised embedded computing solutions.

Display versatility

The display solutions zone will feature live demonstrations of a range of displays for different purposes, including real customer solutions. The zone will highlight the benefits of the recently launched SimplePlus solution, which provides a new agile approach to display customisation by leveraging a range of off-the-shelf LCD and validated touch assemblies, and enables delivery of a customer’s first unit within 48 hours.

Music: Not Impossible

On display will be an IoT innovation that Avnet developed in collaboration with Not Impossible Labs, called ‘Music: Not Impossible’. A sophisticated wearable vibro-technology, Music: Not Impossible creates an inclusive, enhanced live music experience, where deaf and hearing concert goers can share a first-of-its-kind musical experience that uses connected wearable technology to allow music to be experienced through vibrations.

Unlocking the potential of edge AI

Avnet Integrated will be showcasing Avnet’s new AI-at-the-edge Meta-Sensing product SmartEdge Agile, which can be used in IoT industrial applications in conjunction with Microsoft Azure to build and create artificial intelligence models.

This simplifies the process of creating predictive maintenance type IoT industrial solutions at competitive cost points.

Taking the complexity out of data centre solutions Avnet Integrated’s data centre team will be presenting how its Avnet Direct Connect service offers businesses a simpler and more profitable way to bring solutions to market. Thus can be a software application or an application like EPOS (electronic point of sale).
