At embedded world 2015, 24th to 26th February in Nuremberg , Altium will be showcasing Altium Designer 15 in Hall 4, Stand 206. This latest version includes powerful enhancements for designing next-gen high-speed PCBs and supports the latest fabrication output standards.

Modern designs require signal propagation rates up to 100Gb/s, which can be challenging to design. This traditionally required manual rework and careful signal planning outside of the design tool, using additional steps and introducing room for errors.

Altium Designer 15 includes a Pin Pairs feature to enable accurate length and phase tuning across termination components and length, phase and delay tuning traversing an entire signal path. Designers will be able to plan and route groups of high speed nets with much greater efficiency and accuracy, without external software or needing to maintain complex lists of signals and nets.

Altium Designer 15 introduces support for both IPC-2581 and Gerber X2, keeping designers up to date while giving them a choice that broadens their selection of PCB fabrication partners. Altium Designer 15 will enhance electronics engineering workflow and reduce communication bottlenecks between designers and manufacturers.
