LED indicators bring high brightness, long-life light

The QH Series Halo LED illuminated indicator from APEM is now available at TTI. Fitted with an APEM switch, the indicator gives focused interaction between human touch and machine, and is panel sealed to IP67 as standard. The QH Series is available in a choice of colours, using high-quality, hyper-bright LEDs.

This makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications where specific functions need to be clearly visible, such as those required in professional electrical appliances, automotive and off-road vehicles, and process controls.

The indicators are available in single, dual and RGB colours, with frosted white or tinted lenses. Bezels are either black or yellow.

Designed to integrate with 16mm, 19mm and 22mm panel cutout switches and other APEM indicators, ensuring bright, highly-visible illumination, the 22mm oversized version integrates with APEM’s range of emergency stop switches.

The viewing angle of these halo indicators is 120 degrees enhancing visibility when seen other than from straight on.

Specifications for the QH Series include a long product life of 50,000 hours, and an operating temperature range of -30degC to +70degC. They feature an anti-rotation pin as standard and have zero behind panel depth.

Technical specifications include 200mm 26AWG UL1061 wire terminations. Supply voltage is 12VDC- 24VDC @10mA – 20mA and maximum reverse voltage is 5VDC. The devices are EMC and ESD tested.

They have EMC immunity to EN61000-4-3, extended to radiated field in the frequency range of 80MHz -2.7GHz, 1kHx.
