World's first 7in. HD TFT display module
Gleichmann Electronics now offers the world’s first 7in. (17.8cm) Full HD TFT display module from KOE Europe which is developed specifically for industrial applications. The TX18D200VM0EAA has mechanical outline dimensions of 169.0 mm (w) x 104.0 mm (h) x 10.0mm (d).
It uses the latest Advanced IPS (in-plane-switching) technology and features a high resolution of 314 ppi (pixels per inch), a 16.7 million color palette and 170° vertical and horizontal viewing angles. Excellent optical performance is ensured with a contrast ratio of 800:1 and a brightness specification of 700 cd/m². Therefore, highly accurate representation of image detail such as color gradients and authentic color reproduction is guaranteed in professional broadcast and medical imaging applications.
Other features include a 20-pin LVDS interface supporting 8-bit RGB that enables a colour palette of up to 16.7 million colours. The LED backlight is specified at 70,000 hours to half brightness lifetime and features an integrated dimming function. The operating temperature range of the TX18D200VM0EAA module is -20°C to +70°C.
