The VLD series LEDs from Vishay Intertechnology are in stock at distributor Mouser Electronics. These new red, amber, and yellow LEDs feature ultra-bright aluminum indium gallium phosphide (AllnGaP)-on-silicon chip technology to deliver luminous intensity up to 35,500 mcd.

The LEDs are designed in compact, untinted surface-mount packages with dome lenses.

At just 2.3mm × 2.3mm × 2.8mm and available in gullwing or reverse gullwing designs, the LEDs offer high luminous flux and incorporate larger chip sizes to withstand drive currents up to 70 mA.

The LEDs offer a narrow ± 11-degree angle of half intensity and withstand electrostatic discharge (ESD) voltages up to 2 kV.

Vishay VLD series LEDs are suitable for a variety of applications, including traffic signal lighting, interior and exterior lighting, backlighting for audio/video equipment, appliances, and industrial equipment.
