EVERVISION Electronics have today announced a new generation of the IPCT touch panel line targeted at applications requiring customized cover glasses. The combination of IPCT and cover glass specifically addresses industrial electronics and medical technology applications although the yearly demand in many cases is mid or low range. Nevertheless product lifetime is a key requirement to consider projected capacitive touch panels at all.

Ensuring a long term product lifetime, EVERVISION relies on best possible in-house production depth by using raw materials from the LCD production process. Moreover, only those cover glass suppliers who can guarantee the needed minimum order quantity of 500-1000pcs by their flexible production process were approved. By this method EVERVISION can distinguish from high volume consumer material.

Offering standard IPCT touch panels from 3.5” to 10.2”, EVERVISION can provide fully customized solutions up to 17.0”. The cover glass thickness can be up to 3.0mm along with different surface finishes, prints or glass treatment like corner rounding’s or cut-out’s. The related tooling charges EVERVISION can keep on a fair level.

IPCT’s are available either as stand-alone product or in combination with TFT module.

Projected capacitive touch technology allows touch recognition through a glass surface mounted on top of the display. Its resistance to scratches, moisture and impurities makes it an ideal solution also for outdoor applications. The IPCT touch panel’s glass surface allows cleansing and disinfection with almost all agents.

The wide range of possible applications with IPCT touch panels ranges from industrial Human Machine Interface like construction machinery and agricultural vehicles to sensitive applications like access control, measurement and especially medical technology.

The new IPCT touch panels are available now.
