Tired of TFT displays with limited viewing angles and poor colour reproduction? GPEG has the solution with its 9.7 inch IPS (In-Plane Switching) TFT display.
The display features IPS (In-Plane Switching) display technology which ensures that the information being displayed on the screen is easily read from all viewing angles without any impact on colour or image consistency.

This 9.7 inch display is unique at this size in incorporating IPS technology together with XGA (1024x768) resolution: this makes the display suitable for use in medical equipment, retail devices, web tablets and larger hand held products.

The exceptional black levels, combined with improved display transmittance, helps to provide contrast ratios of up to 600:1. These characteristics also mean that the high brightness can be achieved without increasing the power consumption of the backlight.

Display features:

· IPS technology

· XGA (1024x768) resolution

· Wide viewing angle, 178/178 up/down and left/right

· High contrast ratio, 600:1

· 450 cd/m2 brightness

· Easy connectivity, one cable for all data and backlight

· 30ms response time

· Display only 3.5mm thick

Customers using the display will benefit from excellent image quality over the specified viewing angle without any perceptible colour shift. In addition the high contrast and brightness will provide exceptional and consistent readability in differing ambient light conditions.
