Display monitor with enhanced colour and convenience

Display specialist and brand license partner for Philips monitors, MMD, have announced the relaunch of the Philips BDM3470UP, it will now be available in stores across the UK and Ireland at an extremely competitive price of £579. This 34" (86.7cm) UltraWide QHD monitor is equipped with a wide array of high-performance features and innovative technologies.

Philips’ CrystalClear technology and the IPS panel delivers clear images and colours, while the UltraWide MultiView functionality provides users with the screen space they need to work or play. USB 3.0 and HDMI compatibility make connectivity easy, while the SmartErgoBase ensures optimum comfort for all. Versatile and feature-rich, this monitor is suited particularly for professionals but also for home users.

The Philips BDM3470UP is a pleasure to behold. Its UltraWide 21:9 format, combined with CrystalClear Quad HD 3440x1440 resolution, means that users enjoy top-notch panoramic imagery in exquisite detail. The monitor’s already impressive visual performance is magnified by the power of IPS technology, which provides remarkably crisp images and gorgeous colours that make photo viewing, movie watching, and even web browsing a treat for the eyes. The IPS display also offers wide viewing angles of 178/178°, which enables users to view the screen from nearly any angle.

The Philips BDM3470UP also comes equipped with SmartUniformity, a feature to eliminate colour and brightness fluctuations and assure photographers, graphic artists, designers, and other visual arts professionals that they can have full confidence in the colour accuracy of their images.

The Philips BDM3470UP measures 34” (86.7cm), an expansive format that offers users plenty of space for all of their projects. Whether working alone or in a group, the monitor is wide to accommodate large spreadsheets, side-by-side chart comparisons, detailed CAD-CAM operations, or all of them at once.

The MultiView feature adds to the monitor’s versatility by enabling users to hook up multiple devices for simultaneous on-screen viewing. This feature aims to boost productivity or allows users to combine work and entertainment on a single screen. The BDM3470UP also has an ultra-narrow bezel to tile the screen with additional monitors for an even larger workspace, or for a truly immersive gaming experience.

Users of the Philips BDM3470UP will reportedly be able to make full use of the monitor’s capabilities with ease, thanks to an array of comfort and connectivity features. The monitor is equipped with a SmartErgoBase that lets users tilt, swivel, and rotate the monitor, as well as lower it to nearly desk level, for just the right angle and height.

With its cable management feature, the base cuts down on workspace clutter. It also comes equipped with Super-Speed USB 3.0, which reportedly provides transfer rates nearly ten times faster than the USB 2.0 standard. The monitor is HDMI-ready with all the required hardware to accept high-quality digital video and audio transmitted over a single cable from a PC or all manner of AV sources. Finally, the Philips BDM3470UP is equipped with two high-quality stereo speakers for audio-visual enjoyment.

The Philips BDM3470UP is already available with an RRP of £579.
