‘Curvilinear’ Display Technology opens up new application opportunities.

‘Curvilinear’ TFT displays will do exactly this; the soon to be launched 3 inch Curve3 display uses specialised technology that allows the use of TFT LCD processes to produce a display with a curved radius of 100mm. In addition the specially designed curved backlight ensures that the brightness and contrast is uniform across the whole of the display surface.

‘Curvilinear’ display technology realises the longed for breakthrough that will bring TFT display performance for colour, image quality and viewing angle to curved displays. Applications for this new technology are only bounded by the designer’s imagination, but will include automobile dashboards, consumer devices, medical products and ‘wearable’ fashion designs.
