Customers of distributor Mouser Electronics can now access MultiSIM BLUE, the NI Multisim Component Evaluator – Mouser Edition. A collaboration between the two companies has produced a Mouser version of the free tool that will add features and functionality to provide engineers with an industry-standard SPICE simulation environment of electronic circuits using Mouser Electronics’ distributed components.

The upcoming release of MultiSIM BLUE will include more than 100,000 electronic components with intuitive simulation features and SPICE analyses. Engineers can now visualise and evaluate linear performance, and easily create schematics, simulate circuits and build printed circuit board layouts, all with one powerful integrated tool. The tool gives the ability to scheme and simulate, and it also handles PCB layout, Bill of Materials (BOM) and purchasing.

The advanced circuit design tool is included with a library of more than 100,000 authorised components types including passives, discretes, analogue ICs, discrete signal ICs, mixed signal ICs, sensors, power ICs and protection devices. Simulation is driven by the same advanced parser technology as NI Multisim software with support from BSIM and other advanced parameters. Circuit diagrams can be defined with up to 50 components.

“NI has been providing design engineers with tools to optimise their design performance and reduce time to market for years,” said Ray Almgren, NI Vice President of Marketing. “We’re excited to partner with Mouser to extend the reach of our powerful design tools with MultiSIM BLUE and provide every circuit designer with the latest components in the market.”

MultiSIM BLUE provides a fully interactive schematic interface with a full-right-click menu. Part selection is just a click away along with a fully integrated wiring and reviewing platform.
