The AMD Embedded G-Series, based on the AMD Fusion technology delivers a complete, full-featured embedded platform. The APU incorporates the new low-power, x86 CPU based on the “Bobcat” core with a world-class DirectX® 11-capable GPU and parallel processing engine on a single piece of silicon. With its brilliant graphical performance the AIMB-223 is ideal for embedded applications like Gaming, Digital Signage or Medical Imaging.
With the AIMB-223 DATA MODUL presents a new cost-effective and energy-efficient Mini-ITX industrial motherboard powered by the AMD G-Series, the world’s first and only Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) for embedded systems.

It’s available with three different processors, single core AMD T44R 1.2GHz (9W TDP), dual core AMD T40N 1.0GHz (6,5W TDP) or dual core AMD T56N 1.6GHz (18W TDP). The onboard SODIMM socket supports up to 4 GB DDR3 1333 SDRAM. In addition it provides 8 x USB 2.0, 6 x COM, 8 GPIOs, 4 x SATA, HD Audio, Dual Gigabit Ethernet and one Cfast Socket. It is expandable via PCI, PCIe x1 and mini PCI-Express.

A wide variety of display I/O configurations are supported, including HDMI, dual-channel 24-bit LVDS, VGA and dual display configurations.

Like Advantech’s, a DATA MODUL partner, other embedded products, the new AIMB-223 provides a long-term availability between 5 - 7 years, and a strict revision control.

DATA MODUL offers this highly integrated module also with a wide range of different TFT Displays (AUO, Sharp, CMO,...) inclusive inverters, tested cables and adapted Power-ON/OFF timing. The need of a time intensive display adjustment therefore becomes redundant.

DATA MODUL is able to offer their customers firmware development for Embedded Systems, driver-adjustments and adjustments of operating systems.
