Xilinx Inc today announced the expansion of its Authorized Training Provider (ATP) program to South America with the addition of Anacom in Brazil. The company joins a global network of 28 Authorized Training Providers in Africa and the Middle East, Asia Pacific, the Americas, Europe, and Japan.

(Nasdaq: XLNX), the world's leading provider of programmable platforms, announced today that Xilinx's Spartan®-6 FPGA family has attained full production qualification on 45-nanometer (nm) process of Samsung Electronics' Foundry business (Samsung Foundry). Xilinx ISE Design Suite 11 Wins 2010 DesignVision Award

The annual IEC DesignVision Awards program recognizes new technologies, applications, products and services that are judged to be the most unique and beneficial to the industry and was selected by a panel of judges comprised from members of the DesignCon 2010 Technical Program Committee. The committee consists of industry experts in the semiconductor and electronic design engineering community. The domain-specific approach of the ISE Design Suite 11 has established a new interoperability benchmark for FPGA design tools.

Xilinx Posts Record Sales of $513 Million

Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) today announced record third quarter fiscal 2010 sales of $513.3 million, up 24% sequentially and up 12% from the third quarter of the prior fiscal year. Third quarter net income was $106.9 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, including previously announced restructuring charges totaling $5.5 million, or approximately $0.02 per diluted share. On a year over year basis, third quarter net income and diluted earnings per share declined because in the third quarter of fiscal 2009 there was a $58.3 million pre-tax gain from the early extinguishment of convertible debentures, partially offset by a $19.5 million pre-tax impairment charge on investments.

Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA Family Achieves Full Production Qualification on UMC’s High-Performance 40nm

UMC and Xilinx Inc. today announced they have fully qualified the Virtex-6 FPGA family on the foundry's high- performance 40nm logic process. The qualification is the result of the close work between engineering teams from both companies to further enhance yield, reliability and cycle time. The full qualification of the Virtex-6 family signifies the transition to 40nm volume production following UMC's first shipments of the devices in March 2009.

Xilinx has announced the availability of the new Xilinx® Virtex®-6 and Spartan®-6 FPGA Connectivity Development Kits that provide a comprehensive, easy-to-use, and hardware validated development environment. A key component of the new kits is the Connectivity Targeted Reference Designs that contain Northwest Logic's high-performance, scatter-gather DMA Engine IP. The Northwest Logic® DMA Engine IP, in combination with the other elements of the kits, provides high-bandwidth operation for a wide variety of PCI Express®-based applications enabling customers to quickly develop and deploy designs for a broad range of high-speed connectivity applications.

Xilinx Connectivity, Embedded, and DSP Kits Enable Increased Productivity and Innovation for System-on-Chip Designs

Xilinx has announced six new development kits as part of its Targeted Design Platforms for enabling developers to focus on innovation and differentiation when designing with FPGAs. Xilinx FPGAs Contribute to Global Standardization of Cryptographic Module Security Evaluation

Xilinx K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of Xilinx, Inc.
