It has been announced by UltraSoC, that C-SKY Microsystems (C-SKY), a China-based semiconductor company acquired by the Alibaba Group in April, has licensed UltraSoC’s embedded analytics technology for use in C-SKY’s China developed system-on-chip (SoC) products.

UltraSoC has announced that Andes Technology has adopted UltraSoC’s advanced embedded analytics technology for use in its AndesCore range of RISC-V processors. Andes will leverage UltraSoC’s Intellectual Property (IP) offering, including the commercial RISC-V processor trace solution, to accelerate development and enhance debugging of embedded products for sophisticated applications including AI, computer vision, network controllers, and storage.

UltraSoC has announced that ELVEES has licensed UltraSoC’s embedded analytics technology for use in its next-gen video processing offerings. Processor trace support announced for RISC-V products
Developer of embedded analytics technology, UltraSoC, has announced that it has developed processor trace support for products based on the open source RISC-V architecture. The company has developed a specification for processor trace that will be offered for adoption by the RISC-V Foundation as part of the open source specification. In addition, UltraSoC today becomes the first ecosystem participant to offer an implementation of this functionality.

UltraSoC enhances support for ARM with AMBA 5 CHI NoC monitor

UltraSoC extended the capabilities of its on-chip monitoring and analytics semiconductor intellectual property (IP), to include debug, monitoring and analysis features for the ARM AMBA 5 Coherent Hub Interface (CHI). The CHI Monitor is the newest in UltraSoC’s family of protocol-aware monitors for interconnect and extends that from bus monitors to debugging and fine-tuning the NoC fabric.

UltraSoC announced that Imagination Technologies has licensed the full range of UltraSoC semiconductor IP and software, enabling Imagination to help customers integrate sophisticated monitoring, analytics and security capabilities into SoC designs. The agreement allows Imagination customers to efficiently incorporate UltraSoC’s real-time trace and control capabilities into their SoC products, providing intimate visibility of the internal operation of the device with very little silicon overhead.

UltraSoC has announced it is providing the benefits of its performance optimisation and system level profiling solutions to SoC development teams utilising Imagination Technologies’ MIPS processor architecture.
