Connector from Tyco suits disposable or re-useable medical applications

Tyco Electronics has introduced a sterilisable Medical CPC connector for use in applications such as surgical power instruments, RF and ultrasound ablation and EP monitors used in the operating room. Available with 5, 6, 7 or 10 contact positions, the devices are very cost-effective and benefit from a robust self-latching mechanism which is secure under axial and torsional loads.

New interconnection system for small lighting devices from Tyco Electronics

Tyco Electronics has developed a new interconnection system for the fast growing market for small lighting devices such as LEDs, mini CFLs, OLEDs and mini halogen lamps. Connector series now available colour coded

Tyco Electronics has added coloured plugs, caps and headers to its existing Universal MATE-N-LOK connector family. A total of nine different colour options are now available, enabling colour coding and different colour schemes in harness and wiring systems. Improving visibility and aesthetics, new coloured MATE-N-LOK connectors meet system colour coding protocols and avoid losing any position as no additional keying component is required.

Power relay features 3mm contact gap and 360mW coil power
